Daniel, Edit the surface style, and change the Matte Reflection to one that has a Reflectivity option (such as Metal, Mirror, Generic, or Glossy). Change the Preview Icon to Sphere so you can better see what you are doing, click Options, and play with the Reflectivity, Roughness, and Specular values. Once you have it set up as you would like, combine this with an Environment Reflection (which you can select from the RenderZone Options: Scene Tab). Does this help? ZWebTech Support |

I did some tests with a simple rectangle but not I get something that looks like the image. Could you upload a simple model with the configuration you have said to me, please? thanksĦĦĦ |

Hi MattĦĦĦ The image has made with illustrator, but I'd like to copy this effect in Z. I'm testing with a simple orange rectangle but I don't get this effect. |

Daniel, Here is one way of doing it:
Check out the attached file, in order for things to show reflections well they need to be curved, so the front face in this case cannot be flat. We have placed a glowing circle above the button geometry to create the reflection. Look at how the surface styles are set up, as well. The rounded edge has a slightly different style than the face (and is also seperate geometry. You can play with the size and location of the glowing circle above the button to make the reflection appear different. Essentially this file is set up to be able to easily control the reflection effects to tweak the final appearance as needed. ZWebTech Support |

I've taken a look at the file installed the latest version of Z demo and I understand your settings. I thought that this effect could be done just by changing the parameters of the material. Separating the button into two distinct objects and apices material is fantastic. As the white circle is a great idea. Thank you, I'll try to test this with other objects to enhance the effect. |
