Zweb,

Zoom to apx 65000000% in this file.
With Native Graphics wireframe, panning ('hand tool') is smooth.
With openGL, panning is very coarse, as if snapping to a grid.
For machining, it's necessary to zoom in this close to precisely move objects (with the grid snap set at 1/1000ths).

Pylon,

I think that this is the nature of OpenGL. Is anyone able to zoom in this closely with another program and have the data be displayed properly and pan smoothly?
