Hey Richard
from their website, i think the reason this softwares is Ultra fast as they claim, (besides the fact that it should be some genius code)is that it omits a lot of options that a user might need in other renderers. If you notice, they only use HDRI as light source, it also exports to defined image size..am not sure if you can edit the maps or add bumps coz non of their images have real bumps, and there was not much of texture mapping in any of their images. so I believe it has basic textureing capabilities which is smart i think.

for sure i will keep an eye on it.. would be a great solution for exterios and day light interiors..
