when the shadows cast by transparent objects with accurate light reflection overlap, the result is an area of intense light, rather than intense shadow. the transmission factor is set at 70%, and the transparency at 75%...Overlapping Shadows

Naquib,

In general you do NOT want to use a Glass Reflection AND a Transparency. If you do want to use a Glass Reflection, set Transparency to None. Then, if you want your glass more transparent, increase the Transmission and / or decrease the Reflectivity. This way you will get what you want, and it will render much faster than if you used a double transparency.
