Hello,

Is it possible to render the background in Renderzone with an alpha chanel that has an opacity through it. For example, if you had a plane of glass, and you were looking through it at the sky, is it possible for formz to write a grey scale alpha chanel for the information that is behind the glass, that way when you take it into photoshop, you can have an opacity to set a sky to. Does that make sense?

Thanks,

John

John,

Glass Reflections have a Refraction coefficient that causes light to bend. As such it can not bend the alpha, so it is not included. If you want a material to be included in an alpha channel, use a Simple Transparency and do not use a Glass Reflection. (You can use a Mirror Reflection if you want the glass to be reflective...)
