Hello.
Looked webinar 2D drawings to a 3D model in bonzai3d is great.
And it is possible to do the reverse - 3D into 2D?
Technical task:
- to build the dome of the building or premises
- coat the inside of the dome figure (e.g. flowers)
- put all this in 2D
- print on your printer, and the drawings, if they cut and attach to this dome, should coincide

Can the program do patterns?
I was advised to pay attention to the formZ.

Hey Oleg,

Yes, formZ can do 2d from 3d -- and can even Unfold 3d models if you want to make patterns. Have you tried out the Layout mode and the Unfold tool yet?

Hi Oleg,

Welcome to the forum!

Yes, as Robert says, you should be able to do what you describe. If you are Image Mapping the flowers on the Dome, just make sure to convert the mapping to UV Mapping before unfolding, so that the images get "locked" to the Unfolded pattern.

Please give it a try and let us know if you have any further questions, we would be glad to help. :-)

Robert and moderator Tech, thank you for your quick answers. Yes, I really had to "lock" the image. I found the forum a similar theme. Everything is OK.
And of course, if I have any difficulties, I know what the forum will help me.
