Jean-Luc,

Yes, if you delete the formZ folder from Program Files, and the autodessys folder from your USER folder, then you will be starting fresh...

Hello,

I've deleted all the files mentioned above.
But all my .fmz file are now without any association, and I cannot re-associate these with formZ RenderZone Plus.exe (Z6)...

How to make this with the register?

Thanks in advance
Jean-Luc

Well,
Ok I've found..

For someone who have the same problem

Go to:
HKEY-CLASSES_ROOT
than
.fmz
default value is fmzfile

Than go to the pointed file("fmzfile" always in HKEY-CLASSES_ROOT
than
shell\open\command
enter the path for your .exe plus "%1"

like this
"C:\Program Files\formZ\formZ RenderZone Plus v6.7.3\formZ RenderZone Plus.exe" "%1"

Jean-Luc,

If you just go to the formZ Help Menu and Register the new version once more, then this should also fix the file associations for you.

If this is not working for some reason, go to Windows Explorer: Tool Menu: Folder Options: File Types tab, find the .FMZ extension, and set Opens With to your (actual -- not shortcut to) formZ application.

(On Windows 7, you do this via the Programs and Features Control Panel -- and on OS X you do this via the Get Info dialog: Opens With, and click the Change All button...)

Does this help?

EDIT -- Yes, you can also do it by editing the Registry directly...
