using above mentioned versions on Mac OS 10.6.8, MBP quad i7.
I received an accidental phone call from Support a few weeks back. In the course of our chat, the fellow urged me to try the 7.0 trial version, and I recall him suggesting that backsaving to 6 would be trivial.
Downloaded the 7.0 trial, and used it to model up a small component of a larger scene that I'm doing in my 6.7 copy. It's simple geometry-a few primitives, one axial sweep, default materials.
So far, have located no information about getting this geometry into Z6. No Save As. No Export .fmz.
Is this possible, or do I need to go through dxf/dwg/3ds/etc, and if so, what is recommended? Did I misremember what the Support gent told me?

I don't believe I've ever used that command, so I didn't even think of that. Smacks head.
Thank you kindly, Mr. Smith!

Yes, in addition to allowing you to save back to older versions (ie, formZ 6 or bonzai3d), the Save A Copy As has some very useful options, such as Include Textures, or save Picked or Visible objects only...
