Because i am having all kinds of problems with V7- it crashes when opening .fmz files made in 6. When I can open and work some things are very sluggish like Edit View...I'm thinking maybe a clean install is in order. Are there good instructions for a Win7 64 platform like there were for XP Pro?

thanks-

Peter

Sounds like you may need to update your video driver?

Hi Robert,

thanks for the suggestion.

as per support's suggestion when I installed yesterday, I did xactly what you said. I have an Nvidia GeForce 560, and also am using dual monitors. I know that there is an optimization through the Nvidia parameters, but some of this stuff just seems like V7 not working right.

Peter,

There shouldn't be any special requirements for a "clean installation," so if you are having problems with a particular file, please compress and send it to us so we can test with it.
