In Jeff’s words:

“I believe the real story is that we have developed a large studio that uses form•Z throughout our process. Using form•Z we have standardized layer color and naming formats over the years and have developed an extensive library of models all in form•Z format that benefit all of our projects.

I started Interface Multimedia in 1993 with my partner Mark Burlinson after working together teaching form•Z at the University of Maryland School of Architecture where we both earned our Master of Architecture degrees. Originally we were drawn to form•Z because of the ease of modeling as well as form•Z’s excellent ability to export to other model types.

Although we can render in form•Z today exporting is still important as we like to be as fexible as possible and consider the best renderer for the task at any given time.
