Inquiring and measuring

form·Z offers tools for extracting information about objects at different topological levels, such as object, face, outline, edge, and point. Information extracted may be about an object's topology (how many points, faces, etc.), about its physical characteristics (volume, length, planarity), or about attributes assigned to it (color, shadows, layers, ect.). Also, many of these tools allow a user to change attributes characteristics, and parameters of objects, which amounts to powerful editing capabilities.
